Apple Pie Enchiladas

I have made hundreds of apple pies in my life and I believe that this is my favorite, although I changed a few things. I increased the suger, brown and white, by a half a cup, put in fresh ground cinnamon and nutmeg and vanilla. I also added a tablespoon of corn starch to the syrup mixture…it thickens the sauce better. My husband can’t wait for this pie to bake. It is truely a great pie. Adding a little extra to this recipe makes it a real show stopper and my most requested pie.

Ingredients

Homemade Apple Pie Filling or 1 (21 ounce) can apple pie filling
6 (8 inch) flour tortillas
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup water

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Butter a 9 x 13 inch baking dish.
